Here's the step-by-step process we follow at our studio:
Initial consultation
- We prefer to have an offsite meeting or video call as we work from home. This allows us to discuss your ideas, design preferences, and budget in a comfortable and convenient setting.
- During the consultation, we will gather all the necessary details about the intended wearer, such as their ring size and metal and gemstone preferences. This ensures that the final piece will be a perfect fit and align with their style.
- Feel free to bring any references or let's browse Pinterest and Instagram together to find inspiration and examples of designs that resonate with you.
Sourcing and Quoting
- If no gemstones are required for your custom piece, we'll provide you with a quote within a few days based on the agreed design.
- If gemstones are needed, we'll take care of sourcing the right ones that align with your vision. Our priority is to use ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones of the highest quality.
- Once we have found the suitable gemstones and finalized the design, we'll provide you with a detailed quote that includes the cost of materials and craftsmanship. Upon your approval, we'll require a deposit to proceed with the project.
Diamonds and Gemstones
- Selecting the perfect diamond or gemstone is an important part of the design process. We take pride in sourcing our stones ethically, and some may even come with certification from trusted gemological labs.
- Our experienced team will guide you through the selection process, providing you with options that match your preferences and budget. We believe that the right diamond or gemstone will bring your design to life and make your piece truly special.
Design & 3D Print a Sample or two
- Once the initial consultation and sourcing phase are complete, our skilled designers will create detailed 3D sketches and designs of your custom piece. This will give you a visual representation of how the final product will look.
- To ensure the design accurately reflects your vision, we can 3D print a prototype of the piece, allowing you to see and feel it in person. This step ensures that all proportions and sizes are correct before moving forward.
- We provide one full design, and if needed, you can request up to two design amendments to make any desired adjustments. We want to ensure that the final design meets your expectations and captures the essence of your vision.
Manufacturing
- Once the final design is approved, our skilled artisans will begin the meticulous manufacturing process. Attention to detail is our priority as we craft your custom piece with the utmost care and precision.
- Depending on the complexity of the design and our current workload, the manufacturing process typically takes up to 21 working days from the design sign-off. We understand that you're excited to receive your unique jewellery, and we strive to deliver it to you as efficiently as possible.
Collection or Delivery
- After your custom piece is completed, we'll contact you to arrange for its collection from our studio or organize a secure delivery to your preferred location.
- Before collection or delivery, full payment for the custom piece is required. We accept various payment methods to ensure a convenient and secure transaction.
